EDO has a long heritage of providing aerospace antennas, designed to withstand the
rigors of launch and operate in the physically challenging environment of space. Our
antennas have flown on various satellite programs for both the U.S. Government and various
international customers, and we typically have more than 100 antennas operating in space
at any given time.
We are also a major supplier of antennas for the missile marketplace, with most of
the major U.S. missile programs having EDO-supplied command, control, telemetry, or flight
termination safety antennas. These antennas are typically conformal in shape and must
withstand a very high temperature shock over a short time span.
