EDO TSO designs and builds modular and customizable MIL-SPEC instrumentation systems
and equipment. We have developed instrumentation for airborne, laboratory, and embedded
use. Our instrumentation systems our used in:
The EDO TSO Avionics Data Acquisition Control System (ADACS) is a MIL-SPEC, distributed multiprocessor, VME based instrumentation system. The ADACS is housed in three full ATR chassis’. The instrumentation system collects, filters, time stamps and records data from various sources including MIL-STD-1553B, high speed digital, and video. The data collected is completely user definable. Collected data is stored on SCSI compatible devices and/or telemetered to remote data analysis locations. Operators control the ADACS via touch screen control panels. The control panels, operating independently, are utilized to sequence the operator through various control and customized status menus.
Our Palletized Avionics Instrumentation System (PAIS) is a MIL-SPEC, distributed multiprocessor, VME based instrumentation system that is housed in a single full ATR chassis. The PAIS collects, filters, time stamps and records data from various sources including MIL-STD-1553B and high speed digital busses. Data collection from each data source is completely user definable. Once collected, data is recorded and stored on SCSI compatible devices. The PAIS is controlled through a Programmable Pushbutton switch control panel. The control panel is utilized to sequence the user through various control and custom status menus.
The EDO TSO InterRange Instrumentation Group (IRIG) Decoder is a full VME MIL-SPEC IRIG 200-89 board. The IRIG board incorporates a microprocessor that controls all timing operations and a unique automatic threshold adjustment circuit. The IRIG board is used to time stamp data collected by instrumentation systems. This allows the data analysis process to correlate multiple events happening at the same instance in time.
Measurement and Verification System (MAVS)
EDO TSO's Measurement and Verification System is an automated RF instrumentation
system that measures the RF emitter/threat inputs to the System Under Test (SUT) and
the RF output jamming of the SUT.
