ITT’s Information Systems business is poised to address the challenges of the information era — creating solutions to sort through large amounts of data for the most useful information and managing complex networks.

Increasingly, government agencies in the defense, intelligence and security communities are integrating their communications networks. To increase their effectiveness, they are sharing more vital data than ever before and looking for ways to sort, fuse and apply mountains of information so they can make critical decisions in real-time.

ITT’s Information Systems business has the technologies, teams and know-how to help our customers address these cyber challenges. We’re bringing together our networked information sharing expertise and our large system operation and maintenance experience. Together, we can provide customers with both the advanced technologies that will manage their data flow and the personnel they need to run their new, sophisticated communications centers and systems.

Our track record in this market space is strong.

  • With Automatic Dependent Surveillance- Broadcast (ADS-B) technology — the cornerstone of America’s next generation air traffic control system — we are combining GPS and radar to provide controllers and pilots with vital information in real-time.
  • In the Middle East, an ITT team is operating a complex defense communications network spread out over a million square miles and delivering 1.8 million classified and unclassified messages per day to enable vital command and control.
  • NASA has selected ITT to perform telemetry, tracking and command services for near-Earth missions under the Space Communications Network Services (SCNS) contract - extending and expanding ITT's 35-year support of NASA's communications networks.
  • To counter networks that employ IED’s, ITT provides the information architecture and tools that enable intelligence analysts to respond to warfighter requests on enemy networks, battlespace conditions and threat trends.
  • ITT is one of the largest providers of operations and maintenance services for the U.S. government, providing services including acquisition and program management, logistics, test and evaluation, technical engineering support, safety management and fleet life-cycle management.
