Information Integration / Sharing / Protection
ITT’s is one of the largest information systems contractors to the Federal government. We provide deep engineering and programmatic expertise to meet emerging trends and transformational needs of government and commercial customers in the areas of:

Information Integration: ITT builds and maintains “centers of analytic excellence” that securely search for and integrate organizationally sensitive with shareable data at all levels - federal, state and local - across all security domains and large horizontal organizations.

Information Sharing: ITT develops secure information technology solutions and provides engineering services in response to cross-domain information sharing and information assurance requirements.

Information Protection: ITT provides a broad spectrum of information systems and services to help customers achieve an optimum security posture against adversarial attack.


National Security Technology Applications
Chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosives (CBRNE) present a clear danger to national security. Scientists and engineers from ITT are developing, testing and fielding the technologies in support of first responder personnel and national missile defense programs.

CBRNE: ITT provides subject matter expertise and technical analyses to a number of government agencies to deter the spread of CBRNE weapons and mitigate their effects. ITT is the lead systems integrator in the initiative to upgrade the nation’s test capability to ensure that new CB sensors and protection systems meet all requirements. ITT modeling and simulation tools are used throughout the CBRNE community to develop sensor concepts of detection and operation in CB contaminated environments, understand sensor performance, and mitigate the effects of CBRNE events.

 

Ballistic and Theatre Missile Defense: With the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) providing a growing defense capability against ballistic missile attacks, ITT is supporting the Missile Defense Agency and related organizations in this important national security program with a wide range of research, technology and engineering support services for analysis, modeling and testing. ITT has been the principal evaluator of lethality and system effectiveness for the BMDS and its predecessor systems for over 27 years including PATRIOT, ARROW, MEADS, STANDARD Missile, THAAD and the Ground- based Midcourse Defense. ITT is aiding missile defense and strategic system research with extensive engineering services to support interoperability testing, war-gaming exercises, simulation and analysis. These capabilities form the basis for innovative solutions that will support homeland security and in-theater defense applications where needed most.


Engineering and Professional Services
ITT has provided program support for the Naval Research Lab Support for over three decades including services ranging from research and development through prototyping in areas relating to information technology and information warfare. Over four decades of weapon system development, systems analysis and operational systems support to the Navy’s Strategic Systems Program (SSP).
