Software Engineering
EDO TSO's software engineering staff:

Equipment assembly lab EDO TSO has equipment-manufacturing capabilities that include product fabrication, electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, and product testing.

Our manufacturing machine shop has close tolerance fabrication capabilities that enable us to build products to exact mechanical specifications. EDO TSO’s manufacturing facility has the ability to fabricate/build:

Equipment assembly EDO TSO technicians perform component installation (sub level), sub-assembly installation (final), and cable installation (waveguides, semi-rigid coax, video, coax, wiring harnesses/bundles, and wire wrapping), and testing

Product Testing
EDO TSO has in-depth sub-assembly, equipment, system integration and testing capabilities. Products that we manufacture go through rigorous testing before shipment. We develop test plans and procedures that adhere to our ISO 9001 certified processes.

Equipment testing EDO TSO provides testing services for client products at our facilities or onsite at client locations. Testing services include:

Designing tests from definition to completion
Writing test plans and procedures
Managing test conduct and coordinating testing with client
Using manual and automated methods to perform tests
Developing or modifying special test software and related test application tools for automated tests and performing data collection, reduction, and analysis functions
Building or modifying special test equipment and simulators required for testing
Integrating computers, general-purpose test equipment (GPTE), special test equipment, and/or simulators to perform automated or manual tests
Performing manual data reduction and analysis of test results
Writing interim and final test reports
QA to monitor testing; ensure that test results do or do not meet client specifications; and verify that test results/reports are accurate

EDO TSO has testing facilities that can be quickly configured to test new products. Our facilities also include an anechoic chamber to test RF/microwave devices.

Engineering and Technical Support Outsourcing
Clients wanting to perform tests on their products can have EDO TSO perform every aspect of the testing or they can rent our test facilities and test equipment to perform the testing themselves. In addition, our technical support personnel can be outsourced to supplement our client’s testing staff (at EDO TSO facilities or onsite).

EDO TSO has been outsourcing personnel to government, military and business organizations for over 25 years. Our staff has the knowledge, experience, and capabilities to assist clients with their software, digital/analog, RF, mechanical, and test engineering projects. EDO TSO’s Computer Support Department outsources custom after hours, overflow, and 24/7 toll-free/E-Mail support for commercial, vertical, and proprietary computer equipment and software.
