EDO is made up of six business sectors, each of which includes a number of units aligned for growth.

The C4 sector designs and custom builds equipment that utilizes commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) based information and data systems. The sector also designs and custom builds antennas for military platforms and satellites.	EDO’s EW sector produces surveillance, identification, targeting, control, intelligence gathering and self-protection systems for land, sea, air and space applications. This includes the electronic protection technology which helps defeat wirelessly detonated devices.	The IIW sector provides intelligence systems and analysis support through the research, design and development of custom hardware and software for the U.S Government.	EDO’s ISS sector designs, develops, and manufactures weapons suspension and release sub- system technology and advanced composite platform structures for air, land, and sea.	EDO’s PES sector provides expertise in information technology, acquisition management, logistics support and engineering.	The USW sector designs, develops, and manufactures systems used for underwater threat detection and mine influence such as sonar systems, underwater acoustic transducers, and arrays for navigation. The sector also provides expertise in hardware and software design and development for air, land, and sea applications.
