TO RELEASE FOURTH QUARTER AND 2001 RESULTS

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - February 8, 2002 - EDO Corporation (NYSE:EDO) announced today that it plans to release financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2001 at approximately 8:00 AM EST on Thursday, February 21, 2002. EDO Corporation has scheduled a conference call that morning to discuss its results for the quarter. During the conference call, the Company may also discuss its future outlook as well as other matters.
