ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS IN ITS
ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS GROUP
Peter
McVeigh Named Vice President, Sensors and Force Protection
Ruby Pritchard Named General Manager, Antenna Products and Technologies
NEW YORK, NEW YORK - October 18, 2002 - EDO Corporation (NYSE:EDO) today announced two promotions in its Electronic Systems Group.
Peter McVeigh has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Sensors and Force Protection. In this position, he will have responsibility for the Group's Antenna Products and Technologies, American Nucleonics Corporation, and Communications and Countermeasure Systems business units. McVeigh will report to George Fox, Vice President of EDO's Electronic Systems Group.
McVeigh was General Manager of Antenna Products and Technologies. He joined the former AIL 35 years ago, and has held a series of management positions of increasing responsibility. AIL merged with EDO in 2000.
EDO also announced that Ruby
Pritchard has been promoted to General Manager, Antenna Products
and Technologies. Pritchard, who joined AIL in 1970, will report
to Peter McVeigh.
