EDO CORPORATION RECEIVES CONTRACTS VALUED AT $10.6 MILLION
NEW YORK, NEW YORK - October 25, 2002 - EDO Corporation (NYSE:EDO) announced today that its EDO Reconnaissance and Surveillance Systems has been awarded the following contracts valued collectively at $10.6 million: a $2.1 million contract from Raytheon Corporation for the development of a new generation microwave tuner, a $3.3 million contract from Warner Robins Air Logistics Center for multi-trace indicators, antennas and associated spares and repairs, a $3.3 million contract from Lockheed Martin in support of U.S. Navy P-3 aircraft and $1.9 million in contracts from the U.S. Navy and an international customer for additional antennas and support.
EDO Reconnaissance and Surveillance Systems will perform the work at its Morgan Hill, CA facilities.

new contracts, the total of contract awards received by EDO Reconnaissance
and Surveillance Systems since the acquisition of the business
from Condor Systems, Inc. approximates $34 million," said
