TO RELEASE THIRD QUARTER RESULTS
ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2002;

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - October 30, 2002 - EDO Corporation (NYSE:EDO) announced today that it plans to release financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2002 at approximately 7:45 AM EST on Tuesday, November 12, 2002.
