EDO DECLARES QUARTERLY CASH DIVIDEND

NEW YORK - July 27, 2004 - The Board of Directors of EDO Corporation (NYSE: EDO) has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend on the company’s common shares of $0.03 per share, payable on Sept. 24, 2004 to shareholders of record at the close of business on Sept. 3. This will be the company’s 31st consecutive quarterly dividend payment.
